Waiting to Winning: How God’s Promises Are Being Manifested in Real Time!  

 Weekly Reflection: Waiting with Purpose

The waiting season can feel long, heavy, and uncertain. But here’s the truth: Waiting is not
wasted when it’s placed in God’s hands.
When you’re waiting on the manifestation of God’s promise, it’s important to ask yourself:
                     ● What am I doing while I wait?
                     ● Am I staying rooted in His Word, seeking His guidance, and trusting His timing?
                     ● Or am I letting doubt creep in?
Personally, when times get tough, Jesus never fails to encourage me. It always never fails —
when I begin feeling discouraged or low in spirit, my Sister Desi always calls me, pouring into
me and offering me a word of prayer. Her words of faith and encouragement remind me that
God sees me, hears me, and is still moving on my behalf. I always hang up feeling even more
inspired, empowered, and fired up to move forward. That’s the power of Sisterhood.
Whether it’s a timely scripture, a dream that revives my spirit, or a word of consolation from a
sister or brother in Christ, God always finds a way to give me the strength to keep going. This is
why it’s so important to stay connected to community — God often uses those around us to
deliver His love, encouragement, and direction right when we need it most.
Let’s hold on to this promise from Galatians 6:9:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

This Week’s Encouragement
                     ● Keep the faith. Trust that God is working, even when you can’t see it.
                     ● Keep believing. His promises are “Yes” and “Amen.”
                     ● Keep a praise in your heart. Worship shifts your focus to the greatness of God.

Chica’s Corner: A Letter to My Sisters in Faith
Dear Chica,

If you’re in a season of waiting, I want you to know that you’re not alone. I’ve been
there—wondering when God’s promises would come to pass, wrestling with doubt, and feeling
weary. But one thing I’ve learned is this: God’s timing is perfect, and His Word never fails.
When the journey feels hard, cling to Jesus’ promise in Matthew 11:28:
 Surrender your burdens to Him, and let His peace fill your heart. Keep pressing forward, chica.
Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep praising. God is faithful, and He will fulfill His promises in
your life.

 Promise of the Week: Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who
are the called according to his purpose.”
This week, let this promise remind you that God is working behind the scenes. Even when
things seem uncertain, He is aligning every detail for your good.
 Study Spotlight: The Power of Persistent Prayer (Luke 18:1-8)

This week, we reflect on the parable of the persistent widow. Jesus tells the story of a woman
who refused to give up, even when faced with opposition. She kept petitioning the unjust judge
until he granted her request.
Jesus used this parable to encourage us to pray with persistence and unwavering faith:

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he
bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily” (Luke 18:7-8).

Reflection Question
• What prayers have you been persistent in?
• How can you renew your faith this week, knowing that God hears you?
 Community Testimony

This week, we’re celebrating a powerful testimony from our sister, Erica:
“I had been praying for healing in my marriage for years, and at times, I felt like giving
up. But God kept reminding me of Ephesians 3:20: ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.’ Slowly,
God began to work in ways I couldn’t have imagined. My husband and I are now closer than
ever, and I know it’s because of God’s faithfulness.”

 Chica Challenge of the Week
This week, focus on faith-filled action. Write down one area in your life where you’re waiting on
God, and then take one small step of faith to align with His promise.
Example Steps of Faith
            ● If you’re waiting on provision, thank God in advance for meeting your needs(Philippians 4:19).
            ● If you’re praying for healing, declare by faith: “With his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
            ● If you’re believing for a breakthrough, worship God for who He is and trust that
He’s working behind the scenes.
Share your step of faith with a sister in Christ or in our community group for encouragement and
accountability

 Closing Prayer
Our Father, which art in Heaven,
Lord, thank You for being a God who keeps His promises. When the waiting feels long and the
journey feels hard, remind us of Your faithfulness. Help us to trust You fully and to wait with
hearts full of praise. Strengthen our faith and renew our hope as we stand on Your Word.

You promised us in John 16:33 (KJV):
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye
shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

We stand on this promise, knowing that no matter what challenges we face, You have already
overcome them. Fill our hearts with peace and courage as we continue to trust in You. We
believe that You are working all things together for our good, and we trust in Your perfect timing.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
